AutoCAD
AutoCAD is a commercial computer-aided-design[CAD] and drafting software application. Developed by the software company AUTODESK in 1982. It is used for creating the 2D and 3D drawings used Construction and Manufacturing. It is a common designing software used for Civil,Mechanical and Electrical systems. It helps to prepare blueprints and other engineering plans. AutoCAD has innate features that enable users to plan and map out spaces and take advantages of the space available. It helps to reduce manufacturing cost's as it saves time and efforts required for manual designing.
AutoCAD drafting is performed by technical professionals such as Engineers,Architects,Designers and Drafters. It is an essential skill for those aspiring to be engineering technicians or tool and die makers. Drafters use AutoCAD to convert the design of Engineers and Architects into technical drawings and plans. Architects plan and design structures like homes, office buildings, theaters, factories and more. They use AutoCAD to create technical drawings of their work plans. The civil engineers were design, construct, supervise, operate and maintain large construction projects and systems. They work on projects involving infrastructure, buildings and water supply.

The scope of AutoCAD is increasing day by day and is used worldwide. In industrial area the main purpose is manufacturing of component within less time and effective manner. The CAD and Building Information Modelling [BIM] technologies allow engineers and architects to perform many task that used to be done by drafters. A person having good hold at AutoCAD can have a good pay scale. There's no doubt that drafting is an exciting career choice.
